A new federated service was added to the Edugate pilot federation today, if you've heard of Doodle then you'll be familiar with Foodle http://foodle.heanet.ie.

Foodle is a service for simple surveys or polls and for scheduling meetings, it is federated through it's use of SimpleSAMLphp (SP).
Developed by the Feide R'n'D team at Uninett in Norway, it is a good demonstrator of federated access as it shows how a federated access application can also be used to accept login reqeusts from user-centric systems like OpenID and OAuth.
