HEAnet have concluded tests on the interoperability between Microsoft ADFSv2 and Edugate.

The results confirm that Microsofts ADFS version 2 is generally compatible with the Edugate federation identity providers services. Institutions who wish to enable federated access to ADFS2 protected resources such as Sharepoint may avail of HEAnet's advice on how it can be integrated with the institutions IdP service.
