Edugate is a service of HEAnet and was initially funded through e-Inis under the HEA's PRTLI Cycle 4 Programme. Edugate is governed by a committee nominated by the HEAnet board and is composed of members from the academic community, representing the interests of academic libraries, research and information technology departments. A technical advisory group comprised of technical staff from Identity Members (e.g. directory administrators, security officers, systems librarians) and Service Members (e.g web developers, data protection officers, technical architects) advises the Governamce Committee on technical matters relating to the use and development of Edugate (attribute schema, SSO protocols etc).
Technical issues, new member enquiries or general information requests can be directed to the HEAnet Network Operations Center
